Why are Z Bioscience products revolutionary?
Z BioScience combine proprietary pH neutral chemistry with beneficial microbials to clean surfaces at the microbial level. Not only do our products clean at the microbial level, they keep working to maintain a clean surface for some time afterwards. Surface cleanliness can be measured utilizing an ATP Luminometer and, in test after test, our products have cleaned to a lower level of ATP than other cleaners and disinfectants, and they have kept them clean longer.
What are probiotics?
Probiotics are beneficial bacteria. While we used to think that all bacteria are bad, we now know that probiotic bacteria can benefit human health by combating dangerous pathogens by competitive exclusion.
What is biofilm?
Biofilm is a microscopic bacterial matrix that can protect dangerous pathogens, such as MRSA, salmonella, viruses, fungi and other pathogens.
Why is biofilm dangerous?
Though we can’t see biofilm with the unaided eye, it is still a barrier to True Clean. Biofilm resists removal by the strongest cleaners, protecting dangerous pathogens and providing a fertile environment for them to multiply.
Why is ATP important?
ATP is the energy currency that stores energy and powers cells. Think of it as cellular gasoline. Virtually all cells – including bacteria – contain ATP at different levels. The lower the ATP level, the cleaner the surface and the less likely it is to harbor biofilm.
How do we measure ATP?
There are a wide variety of ATP metering devices that can help us identify a biofilm problem. ATP measurements are the industry standard, endorsed by both the USDA and ISSA. Z BioScience has standardized on the Hygiena Luminometer for measuring ATP. There are a number of other manufacturers of Luminometers but be aware that each of them operate on a different scale and that ATP readings cannot be directly compared.
What are superbugs?
Bacteria that have been exposed to an antibiotic but have survived and developed a resistance to that particular antibiotic.
